WHO WE ARE
We are made of history.
1938 - Brothers Aldo and Mario Finoli took over the Fabbricazione Italiana Nastri e Affini Finea Srl based in Locate Varesino (CO), specializing mainly in haberdashery and elastic ribbons.
1977 - From Finea Srl was born as a rib Finotex Italia Srl, run by the four Finoli brothers, sons of founder Aldo, united in Tradate (VA), with a focus mainly on rigid ribbons.
At the turn of the year 2000, the third generation also joined the company, continuing to run the still family-run business but increasingly open to internationalization in foreign markets.
Current production is able to meet the production of plain, rigid, elastic, braided, vintage, customized (jacquard, printing, lasering, etc.) and suitable for both fashion and industrial sectors.
Diversification is definitely a key word in our production strategy and allows us to offer customers ribbons made from a variety of yarn types: cotton, polyamide, acrylic, polyester, GRS-certified polyester, wool, linen, jute, lurex, GOTS-certified cotton, cotton polyester, hemp, paper yarn, copper yarn, polypropylene and in heights ranging from centimeters up to 35 centimeters.
Over the years, we have also developed vertical integration processes, offering customers also processing and support in using our ribbons to make finished products such as belts, shoulder straps, bag straps, aprons, key rings, and bags, all with a high level of customization.
